Re. Maldives sinking… well the 1992 prediction was plain wrong. Just because one source got it wrong (and climate science is an inexact science), doesn’t mean the threat is nonexistent. Sea levels are rising and drinking water in the Maldives is already under threat. Some are saying the whole Maldives will be under water by 2100 - likely sooner.
