What I would like to know is what do you do if a stock you own does not bounce back, but continues to decline for a number of years while you are accumulating shares gradually every month or couple of months. Do you continue to hold and buy the dips or do you fold? I ask because there are some stocks, in contrast to INTC, which go down and stay down. I'm sure you have had a few of those. Averaging down is great when a stock rebounds and its trend changes from bearish to bullish, but the turnaround does not always happen.
