Was aware of that. I live up north, been a frequent visitor to Kenai, for work related reasons. We talk shop awa local news. My first ever trip to Ak was many years ago to work on Tyonek and then in the onshore plant, still remember it well. Kenai and Soldotna were vastly different than today, as is much of the rest of citified Ak.

The other big plant in Kenai that is moth balled is the fertilizer plant just next door, as you probably know. They keep saying it will reopen but no go there either. Both plants have been down for quite a spell, re-opening would likely not be a simple/cheap undertaking.

Keep hoping a gas line will run to Nikiski from the slope. Still a pipe dream it seems no pun intended. Given the cost of things today probably closer to 100 billion than 50. If it goes I would probably un retire. Massive project with lots of big prime movers, turbines, motors and compressors. I still believe that someday it will go, too much money setting there waiting for action.

Next big boom up here could be mining but who knows. I for one don't believe Pebble is a dead doornail. Lot of stuff waiting in the wings, but the money trail has to get right before much happens. Projects involving multiple partners are often a bit unpredictable. Then there are the environmental angles, courts and all that stuff.

Thanks.
