I paddled around the FLI website and came across Erik's name: Featured new donor: Erik Otto "We increasingly need effective institutions dedicated to mitigating catastrophic risks associated with our tightly connected, tech-driven world. The Future of Life Institute has been adept at enacting creative, cost-effective strategies to address these issues, and I am very happy to support their continued resolve." I donate through my broker Charles Schwab. They had a Future of Life Institute with an address in MA, rather than PA. The EIN was given on by Schwab but I couldn't find the EIN on the FLI's website to check they were the same, so I donated to CAIS instead,. CAIS's address tallied with the one given by Schwab. Giving to West End house in honor of Technetium was easy because I made the same donation last year. Congratulations to Technetium for running a fun contest, and to Erik for winning it convincingly.
