Agree with your last comments. 100%. Don't trade. As mentioned in a previous post, I've given my brother my brokerage account details and he's changed the password. We've also agreed I only can make 12 trades next year. But NGL is an LP and I'm a UK citizen. And from what I understand about foreign investors buying LP's it's generally not worth it due to tax reasons. Perhaps you understand it better than I do?

  • The tax treatment of the sale of US partnerships can be extremely complicated for a non-US investor. All of any capital gain, or only a part of it, may be subject to US tax on sale, depending on various factors which are broadly intended to limit the taxable gain to the extent of the partnership’s business operations in the US.
