TO: ALL CVIA THREAD PARTICIPANTS!!!!!
As some of you are aware I have recently moved/relocated ( most of you can imagine how much fun that can be?).
In addition I will be travelling to Toronto to my parent's 50th. Wedding Anniversary!!!
I will not be available to make any postings on the CVIA Thread, etc, from the time period starting Thursday February 19th, to the close of business Tuesday March 3rd.!!! Then the very next day I have a number of appointments scheduled that will most likely keep me away from the computer for a few days!
The point to all this, is given the circumstances I feel in fairness to all, it is appropriate and responsible that I resign from my position as "Unofficial Thread Spokesperson-----Effective immediately!!!
There!!! Now that I am no longer spokesperson, and since I will be away for a few weeks ( I will try to post if by chance I can get access to the internet where I am staying! But! No promises!).
I very much enjoy this thread and the people that have interacted and communicated and shared their thoughts with each other!----We have a very unique and special chemistry on this thread, as well as very special individuals!!!
I was going to suggest that we nominate another spokesperson, however------it's only my opinion, but I feel that the need for a CVIA Spokesperson, will most likely not be required, at some point in the very near future! ( Just my own opinion!)
It has been my feeling that significant news would be coming in late Feb. to Mid-March!!! ( I still feel that is possible!)-----and when and if it does come, then my guess is also that several of the new players in the merger scenario will be announced publically, thus in my opinion, no longer requiring a Spokesperson, as I imagine that Jack will have sufficient time freed up to more easily address your own specific concerns and questions!
Also as I feel that with the potential for several new players ( if and when there is a merger)---it will give each of us a clean slate in which to start developing our own personal rapport and communication flow with the newly mergered company ( if there is one!), as each of us personally see right for our own investment style! ( In other words each of you should do what is right for you!)
In the past what usually happens to me with other investment that I have followed in recent years, is the minute I leave for an extended period of time, something almost always seems to happen to my investments! ( I realize that this is just a coincidence but, I still do find it interesting!)
My personal hunch and speculative opinion, is very soon CVIA is never going to be the same! I have been betting that CVIA with the support of Jack Arnold would eventually ( someway / somehow) survive and move forward, and add value to the CVIA scenario!
I steel feel that way, and I'm sensing that we are getting closer to the real thing! ( Of course just my own opinion!)
As a closing personal comment, I will be following the CVIA Webb Site closely and for as long as I can until I head out on my trip!
Let's keep our toes and fingers crossed ( for those of us long!)--and let's hope and pray for the wisdom to do the thing that is right for us, if as and when significant news starts to surface!
Time will tell!
