Yes, it is interesting. From what I could find, there are now over 2,000 companies (not sure if that's U.S. or worldwide) that have over $1 billion in revenues per year.

I had heard of Masimo before, but I thought they were a maker of standard wristwatches, not smart watches.

I think Art is right, Apple will simply wait out Masimo with delays and appeals to force them into a licensing deal favorable to Apple.
