Government is throwing tax payers money into battery research. The so called scientists working on SS batteries are not going to bite off the hand that feeds them. Kinda makes you wonder if the whistle blowers that say SS batteries are a pipe dream are on to something? Promoting there is a better energy source then oil reduces the resistance to shutting down oil. The government has thrown money into solar power & windmills how is that working out? Will SS batteries be strike 3
