Eric, the point is that EVs are still too damned expensive, and they're not paying for themselves in the amount of gas saved.

And you're not going to sell more EVs by berating customers and making them feel guilty about their gas-guzzling ICEs.

Hence the only way to speed up the transition to the so-called "green economy" is by force.

Because why trust the free market to come up with economically-viable solutions? We know more and care more than those oh-so-greedy "capitalists," right?
