A few years ago back in the NE a big snowstorm hit and many cars and trucks were trapped on an Interstate. A number of gas cars ran out of gas but all the electric vehicles did just fine! None of them ran out of electrons before the freeway was cleared a few days later.... ICE vehicles still burn a lot of petrol, diesel while idling... A very, very inefficient, expensive way to stay warm. NYT
