MM is just pure fun. We watch as a family. You can watch the changing complexion of the UK in the series as it starts out VERY white and slowly gets more integrated- and we find that fun. Lots of interracial couples in the later seasons. And the locations are gorgeous. There's a Facebook group dedicated to MM- and lots of lovely people in the UK (and other places) take snaps of themselves and the settings (or just the places) in real life. 26 years (and we've gone through 2 lead detectives- Tom and John Barnaby). Anthony Horowitz did the adaptions of many of the first episodes- and we love Horowitz. He's brilliant.
