Eric,
The Average New Car Price Is Unbelievably High
Total B.S.

A Toyota Corolla Hybrid base cost is $23,500. Here's one for $26,362:

The Chevy Bolt can be had for roughly $20,000!
Again, total B.S.

A Chevy Bolt 2023 goes for $26,595:

And that's even considering that the Chevy Bolt will be discontinued. Who's gonna want a car that is discontinued and may not have the spare parts available for the lifetime of the car?

No matter how you slice it, EVs are simply more expensive than their equivalent ICE counterparts. Not even equivalent, mind you. The Bolt, for example, has a shorter range that the Toyota Corolla.
