This certainly is an interesting discussion.

It reminds me of a short editorial piece published in the latest issue of ASAP, which I believe comes as some sort of insert with Forbes. In any case, the author was lamenting Jobs' presence at Apple, citing the same 'cult of personality' issues central to Bill's (Jackson) position.

Even more important than the personalities in question are the societies that give rise to people like Hitler, Jobs, Gates, Trump, Hussein.... History is full of people who made it into the books because they were in the right place at the right (or wrong) time; Hitler is by all accounts one of these people.

When you go a little deeper with your analysis you'll see that, for any number of reasons, Jobs is a very different historical figure than Hitler.

Hopefully, though, the novelty of this thread's absurd nature will have worn off long before then.
