Apologies for the late corrections.

I think my electronics have it against me this year. For example, I was watching TV the other evening when the screen went blank and speechless for no apparent reason.

Now it sits, like a dark enigmatic black rectangle, akin to the monoliths in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
