ABG. Oops, I hadn't noticed the recent fall in Asbury Automotive. I have a few shares; It's a buy for me at current price, and I am placing an order now to buy more on Monday. finance.yahoo.com As I've often mentioned, I like the auto/truck dealerships. This started several years ago when I read that the richest people in small towns are perhaps the local doctor and the local auto/truck dealership owner. These dealerships can be good businesses if purchased correctly and managed properly. Buffett is an owner of several. Robert Furman, sometimes on this thread, is an owner and the subject matter expert here (imo). I hold shares in most of the big dealership stocks. LAD is my favorite (although maybe not the best to buy now at current price). I gave up on Sonic (SAH) after considering Spekulatius's comments here in July. I recently started a tracking position in AutoNation (AN).
