  • BlackRock (NYSE: BLK) disclosed on Monday that its proposed spot bitcoin ( BTC-USD) exchange-traded fund plans to charge a fee of 0.30% of the ETF's net asset value, less than some of its rivals.
  • The fee is on an annualized basis and is payable at least quarterly, the company said in a filing.
  • Meanwhile, ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF will apply a 0.25% annualized fee rate to the trust's total bitcoin ( BTC-USD) holdings, it said in a filing on Monday.
  • Hopes remain buoyant that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will approve the first U.S. spot bitcoin ETF this month.
  • By contrast, the proposed Valkyrie Bitcoin ETF plans to charge a 0.80% annual rate and the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund will charge 0.39%.
