The skiers down here call that stuff "Cascade concrete". :-) As for lowland snow here, it's always a matter of how long the cold snap lasts and the timing of any precip along with it. Looks like the upcoming freeze won't bring a lot of snow and the cold should dissipate by early next week.

I know you don't like the snow but I do, as it's a fun break from the usual dreary rainy weather we get for months at a time during the winter..
