All they care about is drilling and producing oil. No conservatism or care for shareholders. It's like Darren Woods didn't learn the lessons from the 2010s.
LOl. What do you expect an energy company to do? Exploring and producing oil is their business. They do pay a nice dividend and buy back some stock. Looks like they generate about 20% return on invested capital this year which at a PE of 10 is twice the return they get from buybacks. So investing in production seems to make perfect sense relative to buybacks.

XOM has one of the best production growth profiles besides TTE amongst the big oil. Much us due to their huge find in Guyana.
