Hey all, Did a little info gathering. Check out dvdcity.com Looks like an independent distributor of DVD devices. They only sell the Sigma MPEG-2 chip! Looks like a pretty steep price too for the volume that is supposed to be hitting the market any year now. I called up the 1-888 number to ask about the chip. The guy said that the other chips are produced by companies that make their own DVD-Rom devices. That sounds good to me. Sigma's chip looks like it's the only independent one out there in this huge market. Does anyone know more to add to this info? Grant
