Thanks for pointing that out. I had missed the reference to parallel port drives. I don't see how the consultants are going to be happier with parallel port LS-120s than they are with Zip drives. This doesn't even give them the advantage of having less to carry around. But these are only for the existing notebooks, apparently.

On the other hand, E&Y will use LS-120 internal units in new notebooks and in desktops. So we really don't know how many total drives this represents. Still, the fact that this announcement was even made seems to indicate that this is a first.
