Julius, thanks so much for all your efforts here. I think there is a good chance that the S&P 500 hits a new all time high and then the market sells off hard.

The problem as I see it is that everyone knows the Fed is going to lower rates this year but the number of cuts that are expected are just too many for an actual soft landing.

We will never see that many cuts unless we have an actual recession. A recession is still possible if only for the simple reason that consumer may not spend much on any big ticket items because interest rates are not as low as they used to be.

My sister and I have two nice but older homes up for sale as my parents both passed away last year. They are not seeing much interest due to winter in Idaho and higher interest rates than we will eventually see later this year.

My point is that why buy a house, EV or car at all unless interest rates are working very much in the buyer's favor? Why not hold off until rates are low enough that you can buy more house, car or whatever for your buck.

I think we are going to see enough slowing in the market to truly flirt with an actual recession due to consumers refusing to buy now what they can pay less for later. We all want more for less.

That means a potential real dump in the market.
