Tenchu's Thoughts: TUCK FRUMP

Donald Trump shares false conspiracy theory Nikki Haley is ineligible to be president (NYPost)

Trump seems desperate. Now he's making shit up regarding Nikki Haley's eligibility to be president.

Well, technically he isn't the one making shit up. Instead, it's this asshole:

The Constitution Absolutely Prohibits Nikki Haley From Being President Or Vice President (Paul Ingrassia, aMeRiCaN gReAtNeSs)

Analysis: Legal Scholar Asserts U.S. Constitution Disqualifies Nikki Haley from Presidential or Vice-Presidential Candidacy (The Gateway Pundit)

Trump is "merely" reposting the asshole's "novel" legal theory.

Trump Makes Shit Up As He Goes Along

Most of the mainstream media, including sources that don't lean left, have already debunked this bullshit.

What is the bullshit argument, exactly?

Well, Ingrassia tries to draw a distinction between "birthright citizenship" as defined in the 14th amendment, and a "natural born citizen" as defined by Article II, Section 1. He believes that the former refers to anyone who was born in the U.S., while the latter specifically refers to anyone who was born in the U.S. to parents who were also citizens at the time of birth.

But no court has ever recognized any difference between these two concepts. No court has ever said that "natural born citizens" can only come from parents who are already citizens at the time of birth. That's just st00pid beyond belief.

A Question of Timing

So why come up with this artificial distinction now? Why didn't anyone bring it up during the Obama birther controversy, for example?

When Obama presented his birth certificate while the song "Real American" was playing in the background, why didn't Trump or Ingrassia say something like, "But but that birth certificate is irrelevant! Obama's biological parents weren't American citizens at the time of his birth! Checkmate biotches!!!"

The answer is simple. Someone just made up this lie this year. And it all has to do with a certain girl of Indian heritage ...

Is Nikki Haley Really Scaring Trump?

Polls show Haley closing the gap with Trump in New Hampshire ahead of Jan. 23 primary (ABCNews)

Will she win New Hampshire? I personally doubt it.

If she does win, will this turn into more primary victories for her? Again, I doubt it. Trump's hold on deep "red states" is too strong for her to overcome, I believe.

Trump is Unhinged

Still, Trump is scared of even the REMOTE possibility that he could lose.

And because he is completely unhinged, he will vomit anything that comes into his head during one of his nightly social media benders.

In any case, anyone who believes that Trump will follow the Constitution is fooling himself, because Trump will interpret the Constitution in "novel" ways that suit him and exclude everyone else.

Fuck tradition. Fuck precedence. Fuck the courts that don't go along with his line of thinking. It's all his way or the highway.

Oh yeah, let's not forget that his supporters will instantly become cOnStITuTiOnAl eXpErTs and will echo Trump's lie over and over again. Because that's the way social media works.

Yes, It's Personal To Me

"But geez Tenchu! You seem to be taking this a little too personally. Why do you care so much?"

It's because I too am a natural born citizen who was born to immigrant parents.

Even if I have no hope of ever becoming President, I do relate to those who are children of immigrants.

In fact, I believe that immigrants and children of immigrants collectively are the BIGGEST piece of evidence of America's greatness.

Because if America wasn't so great, why would anyone immigrate here in the first place?

I like to take pride in my "child of immigrants" status.

And yes, I work primarily with immigrants and children of immigrants. It's simply the world I live in.

(And oh yeah, said world happens to be Silicon Valley, a.k.a. the REASON why America is still #1 in technology. And it is majority minority. It is majority immigrant.)

One last prediction

By the way, I have one last prediction.

I predict that, if called out on his bullshit, Trump will run away from what he posted.

He will claim, "I don't necessarily believe it. I'm just reposting what someone else said."

Complete intellectual cowardice.

How do I know? Because it's right out of the coward's playbook.

In fact, there was a guy on this thread who claimed that the mRNA COVID vaccines would cause AIDS:

Message 33781383

When that prediction failed, he then ran away from his own post (which got 6 "recommendations") and claimed that he was merely "reporting on what a couple of dOcToRs said":

Message 34141613

In the same way, I believe Trump will do likewise. Run away from his own words and claim he was just reporting on someone else's argument.

Brutally Honest? LOL ...

This is not a guy who is "brutally honest."

This is a guy who makes shit up as he goes along. He will lie, cheat, and steal his way to "victory." Ends justify the means.

TUCK FRUMP.
