In HS, which was much more difficult than college, the math teacher and physics teacher were rivals a bit. They both coached track, one sprinters and the other distance runners. Bro Tessmer used to say that the "on edge" math created today would have real applicability(pjysics) in 100 years. Now, I imagine that with AI, that window may shorten..or humanity may cease to exit because people don't like to eat bugs
