Just checked out the price of gasoline in Vancouver Cd $1.55.9 a liter. (Lets see 1.55 X 3.89 = gallons)... Ouch! Of course Canadians have been driving south of the boarder for decades to get cheaper gasoline here. But if you drive pure electric in B.C your costs for energy ((per mile, kilometer) would be a small fraction of what petrol is! Just like here in Washington state. Can't beat that hydropower. Well maybe not in the future. Dams are getting ever more expensive to maintain unfortunately.... All those big moving parts... That's where solar wins. No moving parts..
