Hi Ed, Thx for the helpful response. Isn't Win 98 due for release? Remember the delay for release of Win 95 caused a major slide for the stock, didn't it?....has a delay for the 98 version been announced? Suppose part of my hesitance is because of all the posts on SI pointing to msft's chart. Comments of 'overvaluation' and 'overbought' conditions are everywhere. My most encouraging thoughts to buy remind me where DELL and INTC were after their last splits and where they are today. Assuming the government isn't planning another major shot at msft my instincts say go for it. Ann
