Steag and CFM use a patented drying process that appears to be very attractive to users. CFM has sued Steag for infringment on their patent for this process. The Japanese control Asia in the cleaning business. No US or Euopean companies do well in any of the Asian markets for cleaning tools. Submicron's ozone process (patented by them) looks like a good process. The key to selling it is to get it installed as the process of record for a particular device process. This gets done in the development phase of a product. Then when they gear up a fab, it gets installed. This can take years. So don't expect results unless they tell you it is the POR for some fabs.
