Longz,
Rental firm Hertz Global Holdings (HTZ.O) said on Thursday it would sell about 20,000 electric vehicles from its U.S. fleet due to higher expenses related to collision and damage
More evidence that owning an electric vehicle doesn't save money.

P.S. - Now before the eco-zealots tell me that the higher costs are all artificial and the result of some grand conspiracy by Big Oil and Big Republicans and Big Corporations, etc., I will say this. Eventually the costs of EVs will come down. However, the free market needs to drive those costs down. NOT government.
