Let's have a close look at Boeing and DEI!

Boeing's corporate filings with the SEC reveal that in beginning 2022, the annual bonus plan to reward CEO and executives for increasing profit for shareholders and prioritizing safety was changed to reward them if they hit DEI targets.

I read an article many moons ago that many of the problems with BA can be traced to the merger with McDonnel Douglas. Maybe they would have been better off merger with McDoanld's of Golden Arches and Ronald fame. The cultures were vastly different.

BA had a culture if innovation / cutting edge and MAC was focused on the bottom line. Seems that the MAC executives prevailed in the culture wars. The Boring 700 was a well engineered jt but as its age started to show they didn't desing a new jet from the bottom up but tried to stretch the existing platform. So many of the recent failures were attributable to that.

Now, they have aligned a prime incentive for management that serves neither service, innovation, cost or safety. Monty Python.
