My mom is a Democrat and of course I love her, but think she is willfully ignorant on some things. My whole family is conservative except my sister, My mom actually was Pro Trump before me. She passed away in April but largely missed most if the FJB corruption. My mother liked to talk politics and religion. My sister used to tell my mom that "she doesn't talk politics and religion". For that statement she used to post a lot of political crap to FB. She also periodicallt went to my mom for "loans" which my sister later declared to be gifts. It used to infuriate my mom that my sister would ask for money and not let her talk about the things she cared about. I told my mom to tell sis, "I don't want to talk about money".
