In this post, the video from CNN makes clear what the ramifications for world wide real estate would be if this idiocy is allowed to stand. Did you watch it? It's only a couple minutes and I think you would find it interesting.
I watched it. He didn't say anything that I haven't heard before.

It's one thing to present the best possible valuation for your assets in order to maximize loan amounts.

But it's yet another thing to completely lie about them.

If I own a 2,000 ft2 house but I said it was actually 6,000 ft2, and the bank doesn't catch me, should that be legal? According to NY state law, it is not.

But hey, I'm sure you know NY state law better than I do because the Q Continuum is full of lEgAl eXpErTs ...
