I could have and thought of it but just wanted to get on with my conversation. When I received a text from Xfinity to give a review of the service I received I gave them a mouthful to include that very question. I did tell them that I did not think I was speaking to a real person and did not appreciate the multiple sales pitches. During the conversation to solve my problem they tried to get me to buy upgraded services of internet which I did not need, to join a reduced price service of half the price I was paying which after researching what it was, was nothing more than a data collection of my web browsing which I do not have anything to hide but I am more than willing to pay fair value for what I had....my original call was to complain as to why they charged me $30 more this month than last month and after almost an hour on the chat I just told them let's stay focused on why I am here....take off the $30 fee. They ended up changing my service to a higher internet speed for less than what I was paying ($50 a month) and taking off the $30 mistake. I originally had 50mb service and they upgraded me to 400mb for less money at $45 a month though it was a one year commitment guaranteed price for 2 years. In the end I was thanked for being polite the whole time so maybe it was a person I don't know but it seemed funny, not normal. From what I could find there is no way to talk to a person on the phone.

You asked a simple question and I rambled :-)
