Who can afford an EV is the question in that video. He has to pay $12,000 bucks on top of buying an EV! This is kind of schyitt people are scared of ... who in hell can afford all this this? oh man my EV battery just froze now i have to buy a $20,000 dollar battery that i have to wait 6 months to order If a lithium-ion battery is frozen while charging, the electrolyte inside the battery can expand and damage the battery's internal components, causing permanent damage to the battery. Additionally, if a frozen battery is charged, it can create a safety hazard, as it may cause the battery to rupture or catch fire.Apr 6, 2023
