As an undergraduate student, I used to get a student discount for the "New Scientist" magazine. I read about the early two Helios satellites that studied the Suns magnetic field. The result came back not as expected, and there was an uncomfortable lack of more information at the time.

I remember that. Always wondered if we got the full story of what was uncovered.
