If you went to an earth coupled heat pump you could heat and cool for a fraction of what NG costs. They are actually used extensively in Canada and Northern Europe. My relatives in Norway switched to them from resistive heating about ten years ago. Much more efficient than air sourced ones! But then again you never took physics in high school so you wouldn't understand anything about them. Sad
