In addition to the usual stalwart performances of "All Creatures" and "Miss Scarlet" on PBS, their new show "Funny Woman" has been a quirky pleasure. A working girl from Blackpool comes to London to make her way in comedy TV, a bit clumsy but very clever. I think "Fool Me Once" on Netflix may have been mentioned here already. Grabbed our interest after a couple of episodes. The new "True Detective" on HBO with Jodie Foster looks a bit like an Alaskan version of "Dark Winds" with a small police force in a very remote place investigating something that will clearly turn out to be much bigger than them.
