Well, on extremely rare occasions but generally it's just bad-mouthing and trash-talking sprinkled with unsupported rumors and hype. On rare occasions, something will float into the VDD which will stir up some excitement. I tend to keep above the fray but sometimes I'll be walking along the grass and something will reach up out of the ditch and drag me in.
