Eric,
The virus is continually mutating.
Right, but COVID-19 used to be called a "novel coronavirus," meaning that it was a class of coronaviruses that the human race has never encountered before.

The "novel" part is gone now, and new mutations of that coronavirus are no longer as scary or as fatal as the initial strains.

It's still better to keep up-to-date with vaccines, but the critical urgency is gone, at least with regard to health care systems. Our bodies now know how to adapt to the new COVID-19 mutations. Some will adapt better than others, as usual.

As for the nAtUrAl iMmUnItY crowd, they can continue to "naturally select" their way to strong, healthy bodies.
