Right, but COVID-19 used to be called a "novel coronavirus," meaning that it was a class of coronaviruses that the human race has never encountered before.

Yes, and more virus strains will follow including pesky new novel ones. We have learned a lot about viruses the last hundred years or so. But fortunately we have excellent tools today to deal with them.

As for the nAtUrAl iMmUnItY crowd, they can continue to "naturally select" their way to strong, healthy bodies

Well some folks just don't want to learn from the experience of others. In this case it's really tragic if they die without the excellent protections easily available to them.

As a friend of mine always says... "You can't fix stupid".

Disregarding science in this case can be deadly.

Tragic, but then again we see people doing really stupid things every day that can kill them.
