I've tried a tight fit and still find that the watch isn't as accurate and the tool I have that they use in the hospitals that go on the end of your finger.

The finger device also does pulse as well and is extremely accurate.

No matter how I adjust the watch it is always between 2 and 5 point off the finger tool.
