Every time I consider adding to my streaming services (APV, Netflix, Britbox, Acorn) I look at their rosters and recommended shows from critics on them and don't find much, not enough to justify yet another monthly ding on the credit card.

Broadcast TV has been reduced to infantile pablum for people who won't pay for anything, while everyone else thinks their silo will be the best out of the dozens one can choose from.

Maybe it's a better business model for TV's corporate overlords. Not for the viewer, IMHO.
