I was in the Ukraine back in 2001.

Beautiful country back then. Much of it pristine & natural.

People there seemed to be keen on peace at the time. Most in the City did not have much good to say about the Russians. I have my own thoughts on the matter what is happening there these days.

The war has messed it up of course, and the human cost has been heavy.

Ukraine has been bighted many times with terrible wars. Huge losses in WW2.
