I went over this some time ago. My memory can be faulty, but I distinctly remember Stalin being in the number 1 place. Whatever. the global population is much bigger today, and there are some strange ideas getting circulated. UK politicians have started talking about the end of "the peace dividend". Never heard such deliberate manoeuvring bullchit in my whole life. It's neither Mao or Stalin we need to be worrying about. Regarding Xi, he said the right words, our politicians can't even do that. I expect better from them. That's my beef.
