I think the issue is enforcement is discretionary and the DOJ simply ignores immigration like it would a law against spitting on the sidewalk.

It is discrtionary but the discretion is all politically biased. The campaign against the J6 patriots is an atrocity. Thugs are in charge. Our system is based on trust and mostly honest people holding the reigns of power. We dont have that now.
