We will be energy independent in spades as we scale renewables more and more..
The timeline for EV adoption vastly outpaces the timeline for added "renewable" capacity.

The best way to keep up with the ramp-up in electrical demand is via natural gas.

Germany didn't realize this until RuZZia grabbed them by the balls through the Nordstream pipeline. Fortunately, Germany was able to wrestle away from PooTin's vice grip with America's help (again, don't underestimate America's soft power with natural gas), but it's still an ongoing concern.

You really need to break away from #magicalthinking.
