Monday was a holiday in Alberta, Family day. According to the theory on a monday or on a Tuesday after a long week end some people decide to make there own decisions. During the week they take their brokers advice. Brokers are biased in favour of buying so during the week the market is more likely to go up than on the first day of the week when that optimistic bias is not as play. Hence buy on early in the week and sell late. this would explain softening in tuesday price
