Name Change Official

Regulatory authorities have confirmed the official change of company name from JOT-IT! Software Corp. to
Sideware Systems Inc. effective Wednesday February 18, 1998. This decision follows the approval of a special resolution by
shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held in Vancouver on January 29, 1998.

Sideware Systems is a publicly traded company on the Vancouver Stock Exchange trading under the new symbol: SYD effective
February 18,1998. This new symbol will replace: JOT used to date by JOT-IT! Software Corp.

"This new name will serve us well as we grow our strategic partnerships and continue to expand our presence in the
commercial market. Sideware Systems is a better reflection of who we are as a company and the product line we are
