Since you are such an expert on BC, a place whose inhabitants you despise and regularly attack, you will know that most of the clear-cuts in the last thirty years had been carried out to deal with the effects of pine beetle and other insect outbreaks killing enormous swathes of forest , this in turn caused by climate change, because the temperature in the winter no longer stays cold enough for long enough to keep them in check.

And of course the same beetles are ravaging Alberta for the same reason.

I could ask you about the ever-increasing rate of clear-cutting and other means of forest destruction going on in Alberta, and how the remaining forests in Alberta are even more at risk from climate change than the remaining forests in BC but what would be the point?
