If you take away the "climate change" drought bullshit, that's a useful article. The majority of NV is desert and by definition is dry, not because of "drought".

Coyote Springs is a dumb place to try to build a new city. It's out in the desert in the middle of nowhere (Area 51 is up the road aways) and further draining the aquifer to supply it with water would be a bad idea.

There are a few springs and oasis wetlands in southern Nevada and Ash Meadows is one of the crown jewels. Drilling and pumping the ground water that feeds it should not be allowed.
