Tntpal,
It is truly hard to believe that any person who claims to be christian would ever support suicide.
That's not the question. Anyone who is Christian should be against suicide. Period.

The question is whether assisted suicide should be legal. Like if some patient demanded to be euthanized, and a Dr. Kevorkian came in and did it for the patient, should the doctor be prosecuted, tried, and convicted of murder?

The question involves both the free will of the patient and the Hippocratic Oath of the doctor. There's also the question of whether it is right to essentially extend the suffering of a terminally ill patient, as well as the finality of death itself.
