If you haven't figured out by now that nobody has to do that, you're dumber than I give you credit for.
You keep dodging the issue. It's more than just banning the sale of gas-powered vehicle in this state.

It's also about prohibiting the building of new gas stations, new refineries, and any other infrastructure needed to support ICE-based vehicles.

It's about forcing everyone from residents to businesses into buying all of their ICE-based vehicles from out-of-state, which will necessarily raise the prices thereof.

It's about transitioning government-owned and operated vehicles from ICE to electric. New buses will have to be all-electric. New garbage trucks will have to be all-electric. New police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, etc. will have to be all-electric. New construction vehicles will have to be all-electric. Those trucks that plow snow in the Tahoe region will have to be all-electric (good luck with the range in cold weather, LOL).

New farm vehicles will also have to be all-electric. Either that, or farmers will once again have to import them from out-of-state. Again, that will be more expensive.

The real dummy here is you, because either you refuse to face reality here, or you will end up watering down the mandate to the point where it's nothing but wasteful virtue-signaling.

So keep at it. Keep pretending that we can put the cart before the horse.
